In the plastic sheet processing industry, equipment stability, production efficiency, and product accuracy directly determine your monthly bottom line. At JWELL Machinery, we have spent years refining extrusion technology. For the two major commodity plastics — PP (Polypropylene) and PS (Polystyrene) — we have independently developed six sheet extrusion lines: JW5120/65-1000, JW5130/75-1000, JW5150/90-1000, JW985/65-1000, JW590-H, and JW5100-H. This series is not a simple cosmetic redesign; it is a systematically optimized solution built from screw plasticization to cooling and haul-off, based on real production pain points gathered from numerous end customers. It is especially suited for B2B customers in packaging, printing, electronics, and daily consumer goods industries, helping you strike the optimal balance between high output, energy savings, and product diversification.

Factories of different sizes have vastly different requirements for production capacity and return on investment. We have deliberately broadened our product lineup — from an entry-level 350 kg/h to a high-output 850 kg/h — covering small-batch trial production to large-scale continuous manufacturing. Below are the standard configurations for each model. All models feature a uniform sheet width of 800 mm and an adjustable thickness range of 0.2–2.0 mm, enabling flexible order switching:

Note: Output figures in the table are based on standard PP/PS raw materials tested under our factory conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on formulation, auxiliary equipment configuration, and workshop environment — but we provide measured performance guarantees tailored to your specific raw materials.
This production line series is not a simple assembly of off-the-shelf components. It is a deeply customized solution developed through extensive rheological simulation and on-site validation, specifically tailored to the material properties of PP and PS. This is reflected in three key areas:
① Screw Plasticization System — Material-Specific Design, Eliminating Gels and Color Inconsistency
Whether it is the progressive plasticization screw paired with the JW5120/JW5130, or the high-torque screw dedicated to the high-output JW590-H and JW5100-H, we have redesigned both the compression ratio and the barrier section structure. During high-speed extrusion, the material receives sufficient and uniform shear heat, significantly improving plasticization quality. In actual production, you will notice a dramatic reduction in sheet gels and far better color consistency — critical for downstream printing and lamination processes, and a clear boost in your customers' acceptance rates during quality inspection.
② Width and Thickness Control — Closed-Loop Regulation, Holding Tolerances to the Micron Level
All models come standard with an on-line automatic thickness gauge, which forms a closed-loop control system with the die lip adjustment and cooling roller speed. Even at 800 mm width and high operating speeds, thickness tolerance remains consistently within ±0.01 mm. This means your sheets have uniform grammage, do not thin out during thermoforming, generate less trim waste, and achieve a material utilization rate approximately 2–3 percentage points higher than the industry average. Do not underestimate this figure — at monthly outputs of hundreds of tons, this translates directly into pure profit.
③ Modular Structure — Faster Material Changes, Lower Maintenance Costs, Universal Spare Parts
From the JW5120 to the JW5150, we have applied a highly modular design philosophy. Between standard and high-output models, many bearing housings, gearbox interfaces, and roller brackets are interchangeable. This allows you to drastically reduce your workshop spare parts inventory. When a component needs replacement, we can ship from the nearest warehouse the very same day. Meanwhile, when switching between PP and PS materials, purge time is nearly one-third shorter than with traditional designs — giving you greater flexibility to navigate raw material price fluctuations.
Which end markets do sheets produced on our equipment ultimately serve? Based on the order distribution of our existing customers, we have identified three high-margin directions:
Food-Grade Packaging: PP and PS sheets are non-toxic, low-temperature resistant (PS withstands down to -20°C), and offer excellent clarity — making them ideal for fruit containers, fresh produce trays, frozen dumpling plates, milk tea cups, and more. We have specifically optimized extrusion temperature control to ensure no surface migration or precipitation, making it easier to pass food contact material testing.
Electronics / Industrial Thermoformed Trays: At thicknesses of 0.8–2.0 mm, the sheets exhibit outstanding rigidity and impact resistance. Many 3C electronics manufacturers and hardware tool suppliers specify our sheets for inner packaging trays. We also support on-line addition of antistatic masterbatch to meet ESD requirements.
Printing and Decorative Substrates: Exceptional surface flatness ensures the sheets do not develop orange peel texture or air bubbles during screen printing, hot stamping, or lamination processes. This makes them an ideal base layer material for decorative composite panels (such as PVC/PS composite boards).

As a factory decision-maker, what matters most to you is not the machine itself, but how quickly you recoup your investment and how much you can earn thereafter. We offer three clear commitments:
Capacity Equals Profitability: Take the JW5150/90-1000 as an example — with a peak output of 850 kg/h, one machine can replace two standard extruders. With the same labor and energy consumption, unit cost drops significantly. Based on current PP/PS sheet processing fees, most customers recover their equipment investment within 12–18 months.
Flexible Production Mitigates Risk: Our equipment supports rapid on-line switching between PP and PS, allowing you to schedule production flexibly based on raw material futures prices and avoiding overexposure to a single material. Switching only requires adjusting temperature profiles and roller gaps — the entire line has multiple pre-set formulation memories in the software, callable with one click, saving time and effort.
Full-Lifecycle Service: We operate our own sales and after-sales team at JWELL — no middlemen. Starting from your factory's power and pneumatic layout, we provide on-site surveying. During installation and commissioning, our engineers train your operators hands-on. After production begins, we maintain regional spare parts warehouses with a 4-hour response time for service calls (in major industrial cities across China). We know that every hour of downtime costs money — which is why we write service response speed into our contracts.
JWELL Machinery is one of China's domestic brands in extrusion equipment. For years, we have insisted on independent R&D, boasting a complete industrial chain from screw machining and roller manufacturing to electrical control. Our equipment has been exported to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and other regions, with a reputation built on years of stable operation from every machine we deliver. We do not believe in one-off transactions — we aim to build long-term strategic partnerships with every customer.
If you are interested in any of the models listed above, or would like to bring your own raw materials to our facility for a real production test, please feel free to contact our engineering sales team directly. We can provide detailed layout drawings, energy consumption data, and genuine feedback from existing customers — when it comes to great equipment, we would rather let our long-term customers speak for us.
