2.1 High Output and Energy Efficiency
Extruder models – SJZ55/110, SJZ65/132, SJZ80/156 (conical twin screw) provide excellent mixing and plasticizing capacity.

Q1: What is the actual output when producing a typical 240 mm wall panel (3 mm thickness)?
A: The YF240 (SJZ65/132, 37 kW) achieves 250 kg/h. With board density 1.45 g/cm³, thickness 3 mm, width 240 mm, this equals approximately 240 m²/h – enough to fill a full truckload in one 8-hour shift.

Q2: Can the line produce co-extruded boards (e.g., with a colored cap layer)?
A: Yes. All models can be optionally equipped with a co-extrusion adapter and auxiliary extruder. The main extruder’s output remains unchanged – just account for the additional material flow.

Q3: What water quality is required for cooling?
A: Softened, clean water with pH 6.5-7.5. Hard water (>150 ppm) causes scaling in cooling channels. A closed cooling tower with filtration is recommended. Flow rate must meet specifications (7-8 m³/h) – insufficient flow will cause board warpage.

Q4: How to choose between YF240 and YF240A?
A:
YF240 → single 240 mm board, simpler sizing and haul-off.
YF240A → produces two 150 mm boards simultaneously. Choose this if your market demands narrow boards (150 mm) and you want to double output from a single line. Investment cost is slightly higher due to dual sizing/cutting units.

Q5: Which spare parts should be stocked?
A: Heating rings, thermocouples, screen packs, cutting blades, one set of screw shaft seals. For the SJZ series, we recommend stocking one gearbox oil pump.

Q6: Can the line use recycled PVC?
A: Yes, with proper formulation. Up to 30% clean, dry recycled material (from the same board production) can be mixed with virgin PVC. Higher ratios may affect melt flow and impact strength – we recommend lab testing first.
