Small-Diameter PE/PPR/PE-RT/PA Single-Pipe, Dual-Pipe High-Speed Extrusion Line

Our Small-diameter PE/PPR/PE-RT/PA Single-pipe, Dual-pipe High-speed Extrusion Line is designed for high-speed, precision production of small-diameter pipes (Φ16–Φ75 mm). It supports single-pipe and dual-pipe configurations and is suitable for materials such as PE, PPR, PE-RT, and PA.

  • Application

Thanks to its wide diameter range and multi-material compatibility, this extrusion line is widely used in:
Residential and commercial water supply pipes (PPR hot/cold water pipes – Φ20–Φ75)
Floor heating systems (PE-RT pipes – Φ16–Φ32, high flexibility)
Gas transportation (yellow PE pipes – Φ20–Φ75)
Industrial pneumatic tubes (PA pipes – high pressure resistance)
Drip irrigation systems (small-diameter PE pipes – dual-pipe mode doubles output)

Real case – Turkey: A bathroom pipe manufacturer used the PE/PERT 75 line with a JWS-H 60/40 (110kW) to produce Φ25 mm PPR pipes. At an output of 320 kg/h, they reduced material costs by 12% while maintaining ISO 15874 compliance.
Real case – Poland: A heating system supplier used the PE/PERT 32 dual-pipe mode to produce Φ16 mm PE-RT floor heating pipes. Dual-pipe mode increased their daily output from 8 tons to 15 tons without increasing floor space.

  • Advantages

High output with flexible energy consumption
JWS-H 60/40 (110kW) delivers 380–420 kg/h for PE/PERT – ideal for large-volume orders.
90kW option delivers 350–400 kg/h – saves power when not running at full speed.
JWS 65/33 (75kW) is ideal for small batch production (PE 200–240 kg/h), reducing electricity bills.

Dual-pipe mode (Φ16–Φ32 models)
Produces two pipes simultaneously – double output on the same footprint.
Perfect for small-diameter products like drip irrigation pipes or floor heating pipes.

Wide material and diameter coverage
From Φ16 mm to Φ75 mm – one line replaces two separate machines.
Process PE, PPR, PE-RT, PA without changing the screw (temperature and compression ratio optimized).

Robust extruder design
JWS series features bimetallic barrels and nitrided screws – service life >8 years under heavy loads.
High-torque gearbox (safety factor 2.5) ensures stable extrusion even at 110kW.

  • Process

We use a closed-loop quality control system to ensure every meter of pipe meets international standards (ISO, ASTM, DIN).

  • Q&A

Q1: Can I switch between PE and PPR on the same line?
A: Yes. The JWS-H 60/40 extruder uses a barrier screw optimized for both materials. To switch from PE to PPR, just raise the barrel temperature from approx. 190°C to approx. 220°C and adjust the cooling zones. Changeover time is less than 40 minutes.

Q2: What is the actual energy consumption difference between 90kW and 110kW?
A: Field data:
110kW motor at 80% load → approx. 88 kWh/ton for PE pipe.
90kW motor at 85% load → approx. 76 kWh/ton.
Thus the 90kW option saves about 13% electricity – recommended if your target output is ≤380 kg/h.

Q3: How often should the screw and barrel be replaced?
A: For regular PE/PPR (CaCO₃ filler ≤20%), a nitrided screw lasts approx. 12,000 operating hours. A bimetallic barrel lasts approx. 18,000 hours. For PA (glass-fiber reinforced), we recommend replacing the screw every 8,000 hours.

Q4: Does dual-pipe mode affect pipe quality?
A: No. Each pipe has its own sizing sleeve, vacuum tank, and puller. Our independent tension control ensures consistent dimensions for both pipes (difference between lines ±0.02 mm). A Spanish customer ran dual-pipe mode continuously for 6 months, with 99.3% of pipes passing ISO 22391.

Q5: What is the maximum line speed for Φ16 mm PE-RT?
A: Up to 40 m/min in single-pipe mode, and 32 m/min in dual-pipe mode. Limited by cooling tank length (standard 6 m; optional 9 m).

Q6: Do you offer remote troubleshooting?
A: Yes. All lines are equipped with a PLC remote access module (Ethernet). Our engineers can log in via TeamViewer to adjust PID parameters or diagnose alarms within 2 hours.
